In 2011, a major renovation began on the Chamberlain Building at 1408 Locust Ave. in Des Moines, IA. Henriksen Contracting performed many duties on this project for the General Contractor, Koester Construction.

The first was a facelift to the front of the building. Two 35’ cuts were needed on the East and West sides of the building, from the top of the building to the ground. The front of the building was then removed and reconstructed with a fresh new face. Henriksen Contracting also performed all interior sawing on this project as well. Wall sawing was used to cut doorways and floor sawing was used to cut trenches for installation and re-routing of electrical conduit and plumbing pipes.
